Formea Travel
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the provision of travel agent services by Formea Travel (“Travel Agent”) to its clients (“Clients”). By engaging with our services, Clients agree to abide by these terms.
1.Services Provided:
1.1. The Travel Agent offers planning and booking services, including but not limited to flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation arrangements.
1.2. All travel arrangements are subject to availability and confirmation from the respective suppliers.
2. Pricing and Payments:
2.1. The prices quoted by the Travel Agent are subject to change until a deposit or full payment is received from the Client.
2.2. Deposits and payments made by the Client will secure the quoted price, subject to any potential adjustments due to changes in taxes, fees, or currency exchange rates, as may be applicable.
2.3 The Travel Agent reserves the right to charge a service fee for certain bookings or itinerary changes, and such fees will be communicated to the Client in advance.
3. Deposits and Cancellations:
3.1 The Travel Agent may require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure reservations with travel suppliers.
3.2. The refund policy for cancellations will vary depending on the specific travel arrangements and suppliers involved. The Client will be informed of the applicable cancellation policies at the time of booking.
4. Travel Documents and Requirements:
4.1 The Client is solely responsible for ensuring that all travelers in their party possess the required and valid trave documents, such as passports, visas, permits, and health certificates, as mandated by the destination country and any transit points.
4.2 The Travel Agent will provide general information regarding travel document requirements but does not assume liability for the Clients failure to comply with relevant regulations.
5. Travel Insurance:
5.1 The Travel Agent strongly recommends that the Client purchase comprehensive travel insurance to safeguard against unforeseen events, such as trip cancellations, delays, medical emergencies, and lost or damaged belongings.
5.2 The Client acknowledges that travel insurance coverage is their responsibility, and the Travel Agent shall not be liable for any losses or expenses incurred due to the absence of adequate insurance.
6. Travel Itinerary and Changes:
6.1 The Travel Agent will provide the Client with a proposed travel itinerary detailing the confirmed reservations and arrangements. The itinerary is subject to change based on availability and other factors beyond the Travel Agents control.
6.2 Should the Client request changes to the itinerary after the booking, the Travel Agent will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests, subject to availability and additional costs or fees that may apply.
7. Travel Suppliers:
7.1 The Travel Agent acts as an intermediary between the Client and the various suppliers, such as the airlines, hotels, tour operators, and transportation providers.
7.2 The Travel Agent is not liable for any actions, omissions, or shortcomings of travel suppliers, as they operate independently, and their terms and conditions shall apply to the Client’s bookings with them.
8. Limitations of Liability:
8.1 The Travel Agent shall not be liable for any loss, injury, delay, or damage to the Client or their belongings arising form acts of God, natural disasters, accidents, civil unrest, or any other events beyond its control.
8.2 In no event shall the Travel Agent’s liability exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the services rendered.
9. Confidentiality:
9.1 The Travel Agent will maintain the confidentiality of the Client’s personal and travel information, and such data will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the Travel Agent’s privacy policy.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
10.1 This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida.
10.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Florida.
By using the services of the Travel Agent, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. The Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Client and the Travel Agent, supersedes any prior discussions or agreements, and may only be amended in writing and signed by both parties.
